On Sunday July 24th, 2011 I got engaged to the most amazing man in the world.
On Sunday, Ken told me he wanted to take me to Mt. Diablo for a little picnic. We drove up the mountain and found a picnic table secluded in the trees. After a special picnic we walked to the edge to look at the view. After a few minutes Ken suggested we take some pictures (which was a little out of the ordinary because usually I am the one asking for all the pictures- but I didn't think twice about it!)

After we took these pictures (and I am soo glad we did) he walked me back to the picnic table and popped THE question! It was the most special, indescribable, touching moment of my life & it will always be a memory between just the two of us. I am the luckiest girl in the entire world! I even start to tear up now thinking about it. *sigh*

After we spent the next hour or so just the two of us on the mountain. Then we headed to our parents houses to share the good news.

Also, the only thing more exciting than being engaged is being engaged at the same time as my sister/best friend! I am so happy that we get to share in all of this together! Let's keep this trend going and be sure to plan our pregnancies at the same time too? Okay?! {Duh!}
And I can't NOT talk about how amazing your ring is! It is EXACTLY what you wanted! Ken did a great job. He's already making all of your dreams come true ;-)
I'm so happy for you guys!! On Sunday I kept seeing Ken look down at your hand, I think he was still so excited to see the ring there! It was so cute! Those pictures turned out so good!
