The first two weeks of August Ken and I were in Maui soaking up the sun. His family brought us on their annual trip and we had the best time.
The first day we were in Maui I was walking around saying "ma-LO-ha!". You know, trying to get into the Hawaiian spirit. All was well until someone said, "Nicole, I think it is pronounced Mahalo." ma-HA-lo. Jokes on me and I still laugh about it at least once a day. Everyone pronounced it like that for the rest of the trip, which made for some good laughs.
